Daydreaming about making the Top 10 or being featured on the Wall of best ideas felt insufficient. We recognised that the course was already challenging, regardless of its competitiveness or subjective nature.
So, we created an unofficial award for every student across Australia purely for surviving the course, and handed them out right after the Top 10 students were announced.

We handed out 80+ 3D-printed Diamond Pencils to students, congratulating them for simply surviving the course – the reward they all deserved.
We very quickly had everyone talking and even made headlines in the following days. Students also shared their unofficial awards to their socials! For those out of Sydney, we shipped their pencils over interstate.
It was a bloody beautiful way to end it all. Diamond Pencils now even sit in creative agencies around Sydney! Shiny.
